This is a elegent way to make squash.... Ingredients:
6 or 8 tender small yellow squash |
salt to taste |
2 tablespoons margarine or butter |
1 chicken bouillon cube |
1 tablespoon grated onion |
1 egg, well beaten |
1 cup sour cream |
1/2 cup bread crumbs |
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
dash of paprika |
Directions:
1. Cook squash until tender. 2. Mash and add salt, butter, bouillon cube, and onion. 3. Add well beaten egg and sour cream. 4. Pour into 1 quart casserole dish. 5. Combine bread crumbs, shredded cheese and paprika. 6. Sprinkle over top of squash and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees |
