This creamy, cheesy dish is served on the buffet line of the Blue Willow Inn in Social Circle Georgia Ingredients:
1 head cabbage, chopped |
8 slices bacon |
1 onion, diced |
1 green pepper, chopped |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of celery soup |
3/4 cup grated cheese |
1/2 cup milk |
1 teaspoon salt |
3 slices white bread |
1/2 cup melted butter |
Directions:
1. Toast the bread and crumble. 2. cook the cabbage for 8 minutes in salted water drain. 3. preheat oven to 350. 4. fry bacon until crisp. 5. sautee onion and pepper until soft. 6. toss everything together in a casserole dish and bake for about 25 minutes. |
