This is a variation on Lime Jello Marshmallow Cottage Cheese Surprise but much more low-calorie and a good alternative to the ricotta salads offered in South Beach - Phase 1 - and it contains no fruit. Ingredients:
1 (8 1/2 g) box sugar-free gelatin mix (your choice of flavor) |
12 ounces fat-free cottage cheese (small or large curd) |
12 ounces sugar-free cool whip (it is low fat) |
3/4 cup nuts |
Directions:
1. Stir the jello into the cottage cheese thoroughly. 2. Fold in the Cool Whip. 3. Stir in the nuts. 4. Chill. |
