Cottage Cheese Jello Salad |

Perfect for potlucks, family bar-b-ques, and parties as well as a great fast dish to serve with a regular meal. Simple to make! Great to eat! Recipe contributor: My sister Pat Ingredients:
1 small container of small curd cottage cheese (use lowfat if your watching calories and fat) |
1 small carton of cool whip (again, low fat or no fat if desired) |
1 small can crushed pineapple; well drained |
1 small can mandarin oranges; well drained |
1/2 package of small box of jello (i use lime or raspberry) |
Directions:
1. Add the jello with the cool whip and stir well until completely mixed together. 2. Add cottage cheese and fruit; fold in gently. 3. Refrigerate and chill for 1 to 2 hours. 4. Note: Fruit and jello varieties can be varied to suit your taste. |
