Cornmeal and Chili Muffins

Moist flavorful muffin
Ingredients:
1 cup cornmeal
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 egg, beaten
1 1/4 cups milk
1 (15 ounce) can corn
4 green onions, finely chopped
2 dried red chilies, finely chopped
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl.
3. Measure milk and add oil and egg to the cup.
4. Beat, then add to a well in the dry ingredients.
5. Stir until just moistened.
6. Add remaining ingredients, stirring lightly.
7. Grease a one dozen muffin tins.
8. Pour 1/2 c batter into each well.
9. Bake 20 minutes.
10. Let cool 5 minutes before serving.
