Cornflake Cookie Mix in a Jar |

Not as pretty in a jar as some of the other recipes so I decorate it with glued on dried flowers and a pretty ribbon. As an added touch, tie a wooden spoon to the lid with a piece of ribbon. Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups white sugar |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
2 1/2 cups coconut |
1 1/2 cups corn flakes cereal |
Directions:
1. Place sugar and salt in a clean mason jar.
2. Pack down tight so everything will fit in the jar.
3. Add other ingredients one item at a time, packing each layer down Put cornflakes in last and don't crunch them down.
4. Put the lid on the jar and tie a ribbon around the lid.
5. You can add a personalized label, if you wish.
6. Recipe to attach to jar:.
7. Whip 3 egg whites until stiff.
8. Add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
9. Stir in the ingredients from this jar until well combined.
10. Drop teaspoons of dough on an ungreased cookie sheet.
11. Bake for 15 minutes at 325 degrees F.
