Easy, and always a hit. Everyone is always surprised when I tell them what the glaze is. It doesn't sound very good but it's execellent. Ingredients:
corned beef |
4 cloves garlic |
2 bay leaves |
1/2 cup maple syrup |
1/8 cup horseradish |
Directions:
1. Place Corned beef, garlic and bay leaves in crockpot and cover with water. 2. Cook until done. 3. 8 hours usually on low. 4. Take out of crockpot and place fat side up in ovenproof dish. 5. Score the fat. 6. Mix ingredients for glaze, pour over corned beef (saving just alittle). 7. Place in preheated 400 degree oven for 15 minutes. 8. Take out slice and pour remaining glaze over the top. 9. EXCELLENT! |
