this is a family favorite for a dear friend..TQ..her family have this for thanksgiving every year, as a side Ingredients:
1 1/2 quart pan's worth of corn bread, cooked |
2 cups mayonaise |
2 celery stalks chopped |
1--15 oz can of black eyed peas, drained and rinsed |
1/2 red bell pepper seeded and chopped |
1/2 red onion diced |
3 large tomatoes---diced |
mixed greens for serving lettice or turnip your choice |
Directions:
1. crumble corn bread in a large bowl and stir in all except the greens 2. cover and chill till ready to serve 3. then...serve on a bed of greens enjoy |
