Simple cornbread - perfect to go with chili Ingredients:
1 cup cornmeal |
1 cup flour |
1/4 cup sugar |
5 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 cup water, plus |
2 tablespoons water |
1/3 cup oil |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425. 2. Combine all ingredients and beat well. 3. Bake in greased and floured 8-inch cake pan for 20- 25 mintes. |
