This is a yummy Bisquick recipe. Not the healthiest, but great comfort food. Ingredients:
1 cup chopped onion |
1 lb ground beef |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon chili powder |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
10 1/2 ounces tomato soup |
1 cup water |
3/4 cup bisquick |
3/4 cup cornmeal |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 egg |
3/4 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450°F. 2. Brown the onion. 3. Add ground beef and brown. 4. Add seasonings, soup, and water. 5. Bring just to boiling, stirring occasionally. 6. Mix all ingredients together for cornbread batter. Pour batter over meat in casserole dish. 7. Bake 20 minutes. |
