Corn Soup is a favorite in my home! Ingredients:
2 (12 oz.) cans of whole kernel corn |
2 1/2 tbsp. of cream cheese |
1 tsp. of garlic salt |
1 tsp. of ground black pepper |
ground cayenne pepper to taste |
1/2 chopped onion |
1 clove of minced garlic |
1/4 c. of chopped fresh parsley |
1 tbsp. of margarine |
3 tbsp. of all-purpose flour |
2 1/2 c. of milk |
1 c. of chicken broth |
Directions:
1. First you wan to take a large pot over medium flame. 2. Saute the onion, garlic, parsley, and the butter approx. 5 min. 3. Now add in the flour, whisking into a pasty mix. 4. Now add in the corn and cream cheese and let through. 5. Add in your garlic salt, pepper, and cayenne and ladle and serve! |
