From a local resturant in the area, and got the recipe from a neighbor after she gave us some to taste. Love it and it's easy too!! Great with a nice fresh loaf of bread Ingredients:
1 pound bulk pork sausage |
1 cup coarsely chopped onion |
4 cups peeled potatoes, 1/2 dice |
1 tsp salt |
1/2 tsp crushed dried marjoram |
1/8 tsp pepper |
2 cups water |
1 can (17 oz) cream style corn |
1 can (17 oz) whole kernal corn (drained) |
1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk |
Directions:
1. In Dutch oven or kettle, cook sausage till no longer pink 2. Add onion and cook till tender 3. Remove and drain on paper towel 4. Return sausage/onion to pan 5. Add potatoes, salt, marjoram, pepper and water 6. Bring to boil and reduce heat 7. Simmer just until potatoes are tender 8. Add cream-style corn, whole kernal corn and mix 9. Add evaporated milk and stir 10. Turn heat down to LOW and heat thoroughly |
