Used in making Mexican Tamales Ingredients:
3/4 cup lard |
2 1/2 cups masa harina |
1 teaspoon fine sea salt |
1/4 teaspoon baking powder |
1 1/2 cups warm chicken broth or 1 1/2 cups warm water |
Directions:
1. Beat the lard until light and fluffy. 2. Add remaining ingredients, using just enough liquid until the dough holds together well. |
