I make this when I do not want to make cornbread. I have to double the recipe because there is so many in my brood. It is quick and easy and never any left. Ingredients:
3 egg yolks |
1 1/2 cups creamed style corn |
1/4 cup flour |
1/2 tsp. salt |
1/4 tsp. black pepper |
3 egg whites |
Directions:
1. Beat egg yolks well. 2. Add corn, flour, salt and pepper. 3. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into the corn mixture. 4. Drop by heaping tablespoons onto greased griddle pan. 5. Cook until golden brown on each side. 6. Drain on paper towel. |
