My grandmother made these for me and my sister when we were kids - they are very yummy (especially served with tomato sauce!) Ingredients:
1 (250 g) can creamed corn |
1 cup self-rising flour |
1 egg (separated) |
1 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Place flour, corn, milk and egg yolk in a bowl and mix together. 2. Beat egg white until stiff and add to mixture. 3. Place spoonfuls into hot oil for a few minutes. 4. Turn to brown. 5. Place on absorbent paper for a few minutes. 6. Serve hot. |
