Corn cobs are very healthy. This curry brings a different twist. Ingredients:
corn - 6 cobs |
onions - 2 (cut into small pieces) |
coconut milk - from 1/2 coconut (first 2 mins of this video --> http://bit.ly/bt4tcv) |
oil - 4 tbsp |
salt - to taste |
grind the following |
garlic - 6 flakes |
poppy seeds - 2 tsps |
powdered coriander - 1 tsp |
green chillies - 5 |
cinnamon - 1 inch piece |
cloves - 3 |
Directions:
1. Boil whole corn in pressure cooker, allow to cool and remove the seeds. 2. Heat the oil in a pan, fry onions, then add ground masala paste (last 6 ingredients) 3. Fry well in a low flame. 4. Add corn and then pour coconut milk, with salt and boil for a few minutes. 5. Remove from fire and garnish with coriander leaves. |
