eat this soup with a sandwich and you'll feel full and satisfied Ingredients:
1 19 oz. can creamed corn |
1 14 oz. can whole corn, drained |
2- 3 med. potatoes |
1 onion |
cooked broccoli, as much as you like. |
2 cloves garlic,chopped fine |
1 tb. chopped flat leaf parsley. italian.. |
butter or margarine |
whole milk or blend |
3 - 4 cups chicken broth |
1/2 tsp. thyme |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. heat pot add 2 tbs. butter or marg. 2. add onions saute a few minutes 3. some finely chopped flat leaf parsley 4. add garlic saute 1 min.,do not brown. 5. put in potatoes,thyme salt ,pepper,.broth enough to cover potatoes well. 6. boil ,then simmer until potatoes are soft 7. add both corns and heat up 8. put in the cooked broccoli and 1 1/2 cups of milk or blend. 9. heat but don't boil. |
