A very simple corn chowder that goes perfectly great with anything fried. Ingredients:
1 onion (chopped) |
1 green bell pepper ( deseeded and chopped ) |
2 tbsp of butter |
3 cups of diced potatoes |
2 cups of water |
1 big can cream of corn |
1 cup of fresh milk |
salt |
pepper |
Directions:
1. Saute onion, and bell pepper in butter. 2. Add potatoes and 1 cup of water. Simmer for 15-20 minutes just until the potatoes are tender. 3. Stir in the cream of corn and fresh milk. 4. Add the another 1 cup of water. 5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 6. Simmer for 15 minutes. 7. Turn off heat. Serve hot. |
