This can be a main dish or a side dish-my family has used it as both. I've used a 2 quart casserole dish and a 9x13 pan-the 9x13 pan tends to cook faster. Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) can whole kernel corn |
1 (16 ounce) can cream-style corn |
1 egg |
1 cup sour cream |
1/2 cup soft margarine |
1 (8 ounce) box cornbread mix |
2 -3 tablespoons finely chopped onions |
Directions:
1. Combine corn, egg, sour cream, margarine, and cornbread mix in bowl-mix well. Pour into 2 quart casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes or until set and golden brown. |
