1 cup sourdough starter |
1-1/2 cup cornmeal |
1-1/2 cup fresh milk |
2 beaten fresh farm eggs |
1/1/2 tablespoons sugar |
1/4 cup bacon grease |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
about 3/4 teaspoon baking powder |
1 cup corn(i like the kernels off a fresh ear of corn that has been roated) |
1/2 cup onion,chopped |
2 cups medium sharp cheddar cheese,grated |
1 can green chiles,diced |
1/4 cup pinientos,diced |
Directions:
1. Mix your sourdough starter with the cornmeal,mikl,eggs and sugar. 2. Sir in the butter,salt and baking soda,corn,onion,cheese,green chiles and the pimientos. 3. Place in pan,bake at 400 degrees for about 35 minutes or until golden. |
