This recipe is wonderful for a summertime barbeque. Ingredients:
2 cups frozen corn, thawed |
1/4 cup maple syrup |
4 slices bacon, finely diced |
1 medium sweet onion, finely diced |
salt |
fresh ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. In a sauté pan, sauté corn and maple syrup until caramelized; set aside in a bowl. 2. In same skillet, add bacon and cook until almost crisp, drain fat, add onion and cook until translucent. 3. Add corn mixture back to pan and cook through for 3 more minutes. 4. Serve. |
