This recipe comes from a little book called ABC Jiffy Cookery. I've had it for over 50 years. I haven't tried any of the recipes yet. I'm putting them here so I can find them easier. Ingredients:
2 cups whole corn |
3 eggs, beaten |
3 cups white sauce (your favorite recipe) |
2 cups oysters |
salt and pepper |
breadcrumbs, buttered |
Directions:
1. Stir corn and eggs into the white sauce. Pour into a casserole and on top arrange well-drained oysters which have been seasoned with salt and pepper. Cover with buttered bread crumbs and bake in a 350* oven for 30 minutes. |
