This is a gorgeous ( full fat ) hot potato dish from a previous co-worker. We had it at a Christmas party and it was delicious! Ingredients:
1 kg bag of ranch style hashbrown ( they have these in canada ). can add 1.5 bags if you like it more potatoey. |
2 tins of mushroom soup |
1 large container of sour cream ( 500g ) |
2 cups grated cheese ( strong or medium is recommended ) |
onions or onion flakes |
1/3 c melted butter ( for top ) |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together and pour into a greased pan ( I think I used a lasagna/long cake pan when I made this up ). 2. Pour 1/3 c melted butter over the top of the mix in the pan. 3. Bake for 1.5 hours ( 90 minutes ) in a 350 degree oven. 4. I haven't had this for quite some time but I do remember it was delicious! |
