I got this recipe from the department of health. I ammended it a bit to suit our tastes. Ingredients:
2/3 cup garlic vinegar |
1/3 cup sugar |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
2 cucumbers, thinly sliced |
1/2 cup sliced onion |
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl with a lid, combine vinegar, sugar and pepper with stir until sugar dissolves. Add sliced cucumbers and onion. Cover and refrigerate for several hours. Serve with a slotted spoon or drain liquid before serving. |
