These cookies are both chewy and crunchy at the same time. Very good for people who can't make up their minds. Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups flour (no need to sift) |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup butter, at room temperature |
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter |
1 cup sugar |
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 eggs |
1/4 cup milk |
2 1/2 cups granola cereal |
1 cup raisins |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. 2. Either lightly grease your cookie sheets or line them with parchment paper. 3. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt together in one bowl, stir to mix well. 4. Beat together the butter, peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in another (large) bowl until light and fluffy. 5. Beat in the eggs and milk until smooth. 6. Stir in flour mixture until well blended. 7. Gently mix in granola and raisins. 8. Drop the batter by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on the prepared cookie sheets. 9. Bake in the preheated for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned. 10. Remove to wire racks to cool. |
