A delisheous tasting cream cheesecake. Sorry there being no picture, once i get a new camera i will take a picture from the recipe card for you. Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups plus 1/2 cup crushed chocolate and |
cream sandwich cookies, divided |
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened |
24 cream cheese, softened |
1 cup plus 1/2 cup sugar. divided |
3 eggs |
1 cup whipping cream |
2 tsps. vaniila extract |
1 cup sour cream |
Directions:
1. 1. Preheat oven to 325F. Mix 21/2 cups cookie crumbs and 2 tablespoons butter in a small bowl with a fork. 2. Press into bottom and up sides of a 1o inch springform pan. Freeze for 15 minutes. 3. Note: I use foil pan's, depending on the size you could get 2 cheesecake out of this recipe. 4. 2. Meanwhile, beat cream cheese and 1 cup sugar in a large bowl until fuffy, about 2 minutes. 5. Beat in eggs 1 at a time. 6. Add whipping cream and vanilla; mix well. 7. Pour batter into crust. 8. 3. Place cheesecake on top rack of oven. 9. Fill an 8x8- inch pan with water; place on lower rack of oven. 10. Bake cake until center is frim to the touch, about 50 minutes. Turn off oven; remove cake. 11. 4. Mix sour cream and remaining sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves; spread over cake. 12. Return to oven until sour cream is set, about 10 minutes. Sprinkle crumbs on top. 13. Note: 14.
