A delicious cheesecake - just as it says - cookies and cream!! Ingredients:
2 cups crushed oreo cookies |
6 tablespoons margarine, softened |
1 (7 g) envelope unflavored gelatin |
1/4 cup cold water |
1 (250 g) package cream cheese, softened |
1/2 cup sugar |
3/4 cup milk |
1 (8 ounce) container cool whip topping |
1 1/4 cups crushed cookies (approximately 10) |
Directions:
1. Combine 2 cups crushed oreos and margarine, and press in an 8-inch square pan. 2. Put gelatin in cold water and place over low heat until dissolved. 3. Combine cream cheese and sugar, mixing well wirh electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add gelatin mixture and milk, mixing well until well blended. 4. Chill until set (10-15 minutes) but not thick. Fold in 1 container Cool Whip. 5. Alternate cream cheese mixture with 1 1/4 cups cookies. 6. Chill until firm. |
