This is just a different veggie to try with dinner. A nice change once in a while. they taste a little like artichoke hearts when cooked, and lose their heat. I also toss a few into stews and soups. Ingredients:
red radishes as many as you want |
water |
butter and lemon juice if desired |
Directions:
1. snip off the tops and tails 2. cover in water and simmer for about 20 minsdrain and add the butter and lemon. 3. radishes are done when they are a translucent pink the texture of a cooked carrot |
