A quick and easy way to use up those apples from our orchard. Ingredients:
6 granny smith apples, peeled, cored, and sliced |
2 tablespoons sugar or 2 tablespoons splenda sugar substitute |
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 tablespoons water |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. 2. Simmer until apples are tender. 3. Serve hot or cold. |
