CONCORD GRAPE CUSTARD PIE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Brimley Estate in McKinney, Texas in 1987. Ingredients:
1 unbaked 9 pie shell |
2 cups fresh seedless concord grapes |
4 eggs |
2/3 cup granulated sugar |
1-1/3 cup milk |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400. 2. Sprinkle grapes in bottom of pie shell. 3. Mix beaten eggs, milk and vanilla together and pour over blackberries. 4. Bake until knife comes clean when stuck halfway between rim and middle. |
