There is nothing like a hot bath to freshen you up when you are hot and tired. Here's proof that it works for tired fruit as well. This is what I did with mine! Ingredients:
any hard fruit that has gone too soft, (apples, pears, peaches, grapes,nectarines,) |
1 tablespoon of sugar |
juice of one lemon |
2 cups of water |
2 shakes of ground cloves, (optional) |
Directions:
1. Remove pips 2. Cut fruit into pieces, (eighths) 3. Add sugar ,lemon juice and water 4. Bring to the boil 5. Set flame to low 6. Cover pot and cook for about another ten minutes 7. Chill well before serving 8. Wait for the AAAAAAAAH's 9. ******************************* 10. If a scoop of ice cream happens to find its way to the dish, let it stay there |
