Great way to change up cauliflower! Ingredients:
1 med head cauliflower (or 2 pkgs frozen) |
1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced (or 1 small can) |
1/4 cup green pepper, diced |
1 1/2 cup milk |
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded |
paprika |
1/3 cup butter |
1 tsp salt |
Directions:
1. Cook and drain cauliflower. Brown mushrooms in butter. Blend in flour, gradually stir in milk and cook, stirring constantly until thick. Add salt. Place half of cauliflower in casserole, cover with cheese. Repeat; sprinkle with paprika. Brown lightly in 350 oven about 15 minutes. |
