This is a quick and easy meat dish that begs for egg noodles as a side dish! Yet another form of comfort food! Ingredients:
12 oz. pork tenderloin |
1 cup flour |
1 cup corn oil |
6 ounces chopped onion |
6 ounces sliced mushrooms |
1 ounce sour cream |
2 pkgs. gravy mix |
1/2 cup red wine |
1 1/2 cups water |
2 tsp. worcestershire sauce |
Directions:
1. Pound the pork tenderloin until it is flat. 2. Dredge in flour and pan fry in corn oil, browning both side. 3. Remove the schnitzel from the pan. 4. Add chopped onion and mushrooms to the pan and then sauté. 5. To finish, add red wine, Worcestershire sauce, sour cream and 6. gravy mix. Stir constantly until desired consistency. 7. Place on serving dish and top with sauce from pan. |
