Comfort Potatoes for a Lonely Lady

This is what I fix when I’m lonely. It is good and satisfying and I enjoy it.
Ingredients:
2 large potatoes, peeled and sliced (if in a hurry ,use can potaoes and slice)
2 tablespoons oil
salt
pepper
4 ounces diced green chilies
Directions:
1. Fry potatoes in oil till done; add salt and pepper.
2. Add chilies; steam about 5 minutes.
3. Pig out!
4. Sometimes I eat as is—sometimes I put in buttered bread and eat. I’m lonely.
