Comeback (or Kumbak) Dressing is a staple on salads in Mississippi - particularly in the Jackson area. Here is one recipe. Ingredients:
1 cup miracle whip (i never ever use miracle whip except in this recipe) |
1/2 cup vegetable oil |
1/4 cup chili sauce (can be found beside the ketchups) |
1/4 cup ketchup |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
1/4 cup onion, grated |
2 cloves garlic, minced |
Directions:
1. Mix everything well; you can use a blender or food processor;
2. Refrigerate for at least two hours before serving on a tossed salad.
