The flavor of this one is supurb!! One of our absolute faves. Ingredients:
1 (18 ounce) box white cake mix |
1 cup water |
1/3 cup oil |
3 eggs |
2 teaspoons maple extract |
1/2 cup chopped nuts |
1 cup powdered sugar |
2 teaspoons butter, softened |
2 teaspoons milk, more as needed |
1/4 teaspoon maple extract |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350F degrees. 2. Grease and flour 12-cup fluted pan. 3. In large bowl combine all cake ingredients EXCEPT nuts. 4. Blend at low speed until moistened, then at high for 2 minutes. 5. Fold in nuts. 6. Bake for 40-45 minutes. 7. Cool in pan, then turn onto plate. 8. Blend glaze ingredients until smooth. 9. Spoon over cooled cake. |
