Colonel Sanders' Bean Salad |

This is my personal recipe for three-bean salad, which was served in my restaurants. Ingredients:
20 ounces green beans |
20 ounces wax beans |
20 ounces kidney beans |
1 medium green pepper, chopped |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1/2 cup vegetable oil |
1/2 cup cider vinegar |
3/4 cup sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
1/2 teaspoon black pepper |
Directions:
1. Drain all beans well. 2. Rinse the kidney beans. 3. Combine vegetable oil, cider vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. 4. Pour dressing mixture over beans in a bowl and toss well. 5. Let marinate in the refrigerator overnight. 6. Serve. |
