This is the coleslaw recipe that I have been using for many years. Ingredients:
dressing |
1 3/4 cup mayonnaise |
1/4 cup prepared horseradish |
1 tbsp sugar |
1 tbsp lemon juice |
1/4 teas granulated onion |
2 teas seasoning salt |
1 teas paprika |
1 large head cabbage, about 3 pounds |
1 1/2 cups shredded carrots, about 1/2 pound |
1/2 cup shredded radishes |
optional garnish |
green pepper strips |
sliced radishes |
Directions:
1. In large bowl combine mayo, horseradish,sugar, lemon juice, onion, salt, paprika - mix well. 2. Add cabbage, carrots, radishes and toss until well mixed 3. Refrigerate, covered, until well chilled - 2 hours or overnight. 4. Garnish with pepper strips and sliced radishes. |
