not your regular coleslaw
Ingredients:
1 onion sliced thin
1/2 cup sultanas
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup roasted walnuts
1/2 cabbage thinly sliced
dressing......... 1 tbsp. finely chopped onion
3-4 tbsp.yoghurt
1 tsp ground pepper
1 tsp. dill
2 tbsps. finely chopped cucumber
Directions:
1. put the onions in boiling water for about 10 secs..
2. remove and blanch the raisins and sultanas for a few minutes.
3. put the onions cabbage sultanas and raisins in a bowl and mix..
4. add the roasted walnuts
5. mix the ingredients for the dressing and combine with the coleslaw and put in fridge for about an hour before serving...
