not your regular coleslaw Ingredients:
1 onion sliced thin |
1/2 cup sultanas |
1/2 cup raisins |
1/2 cup roasted walnuts |
1/2 cabbage thinly sliced |
dressing......... 1 tbsp. finely chopped onion |
3-4 tbsp.yoghurt |
1 tsp ground pepper |
1 tsp. dill |
2 tbsps. finely chopped cucumber |
Directions:
1. put the onions in boiling water for about 10 secs.. 2. remove and blanch the raisins and sultanas for a few minutes. 3. put the onions cabbage sultanas and raisins in a bowl and mix.. 4. add the roasted walnuts 5. mix the ingredients for the dressing and combine with the coleslaw and put in fridge for about an hour before serving... |
