A beautiful, colorful, wonderful slaw. I could live on it for a week. That's how much I like it. Ingredients:
1 large head green cabbage finely shredded |
2 cps finely shredded carrots |
1 white onion grated |
1 green bell pepper finely shredded |
1 red bell pepper finely shredded |
dressing |
1/2 cp apple cider vinegar |
1/2 cp sugar |
1/2 tsp onion salt |
1/2 tsp salt |
1 1/2 tsp poppy seeds |
2/3 cp oil |
Directions:
1. shred and mix all vegetables together. 2. shredding them fine gives the best taste when all is finished. 3. in blender, combine all dressing ingredients. 4. pulse a few times to be sure it is well mixed. 5. Pour over vegetables and refrigerate until cold, about 1 hour. This is a delicious slaw and also very pretty to look at. 6. It is my favorite. |
