Homemade cole slaw, easy, low calorie. I use Miracle Whip Light instead of mayonnaise (same calorie count). Ingredients:
1 head cabbage |
1/2 c. light mayonaise |
10 baby carrots, julienned |
1/4 tsp.celery seed |
Directions:
1. Chop or slice the cabbage then put in a large bowl. 2. Julienne the carrots and add to the cabbage. 3. Mix the mayonnaise (or Miracle Whip) in thoroughly. 4. Sprinkle with celery seed and toss. 5. Yields about 10 cups. 6. Serving size: 1 cup |
