This recipe is very good for the one watching their sugar. However the sugar substitute can be replaced with regular sugar but the amount will be different as well as the values changing.. this is a recipe that tastes like KFC. Ingredients:
8 cups cabbage, chopped |
1/4 cup carrot, chopped |
1/3 cup splenda sugar substitute |
1/2 teaspoon sea salt |
1/8 teaspoon ground white pepper |
1/4 cup half-and-half |
1/2 cup mayonnaise, with olive oil if you can get it |
1/4 cup heavy cream |
1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar |
2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice, fresh |
Directions:
1. Chop cabbage and carrots into fine pieces like rice. Food processor works great. 2. Combine all other ingredients into separate bowl, stir well to mix. 3. Add cabbage/carrot mix to sauce and stir to blend. Cover and refrigerate for a few hours before serving. |
