Ingredients:
8 cups finely sliced cabbage
1 tablespoon finely chopped celery
2 eggs, beaten
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup whipping cream
Directions:
1. Combine cabbage and celery; set aside.
2. Place eggs and sugar in a medium saucepan; beat well. Combine mustard, salt, and pepper; add to egg mixture. Add butter, and slowly stir in vinegar. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is thickened. Remove from heat; chill.
3. Add whipping cream to chilled mixture, stirring well. Pour sauce over cabbage mixture; toss well. Cover and chill.
