A tasty cake made with cola Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
2 cups sugar |
3 tablespoons cocoa |
1/2 cup margarine |
1/2 cup vegetable oil |
1 cup cola |
1/2 cup buttermilk |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
2 eggs |
1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/2 cup margarine |
3 tablespoons cocoa |
6 tablespoons cola |
3 cups powdered sugar |
1 cup nuts, chopped |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. For Cake: Preheat oven to 350.
2. Combine flour and sugar in bowl.
3. Heat margarine, oil, cocoa and cola to boiling point.
4. Stir in marshmallows.
5. Pour over flour and sugar; mix well.
6. Add milk, soda, eggs and vanilla; and beat.
7. Bake in greased and floured pan for 30.
8. Frost.
9. For Icing: Heat margarine, cocoa and cola to boiling point.
10. Pour over sugar and beat.
11. Add nuts and vanilla.
