The recipe is from MacNut Café, New Zealand. Ingredients:
1 cup plain flour |
1/2 cup soft brown sugar |
2 eggs |
1 tablespoon orange peel, finely grated |
1 cup macadamia nuts, chopped |
400 g white chocolate chips |
300 g white chocolate chips |
1/3 cup cream |
2 tablespoons cointreau liqueur |
Directions:
1. Grease and line a 32cm x 32cm baking tray with baking paper. 2. Preheat oven to 180C (356 F). 3. Melt half the chocolate and the butter, mix until smooth. 4. Stir in the flour, sugar, orange rind, nuts and remaining white chocolate buttons. 5. Mix well and spread into baking tray. 6. Bake for 15 go 20 minutes until firm to touch. 7. Cool in baking tray. 8. Icing: Melt all ingredients and mix well together. 9. Pour over cooled base while still in tin. 10. Chill overnight and cut into triangles. |
