From a cookbook called Vienna '72 Cook Book compiled by Canyon High School Band Parents Association. Ingredients:
1 (3 ounce) package orange flavor gelatin |
1 tablespoon instant decaffeinated coffee |
1 cup boiling water |
1/4 cup cold water |
1 (8 3/4 ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained |
1/4 cup nuts, chopped |
1/2 cup flaked coconut |
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened |
Directions:
1. Dissolve gelatin and instant coffee in boiling water. 2. Add cold water; blend in cream cheese.Chill until thickened. 3. Fold in pineapple, nuts and coconut. 4. Spoon into a 1 quart mold or individual molds.Chill until firm. 5. Can serve on crisp greens, if desired. |
