This has been a family favorite for some time now. Seems to have just sort of evolved. Has an interesting flavor, just a bit different. It is my first posting of a recipe on Recipezaar. Ingredients:
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar |
1/4 cup dry white wine |
1/3 cup olive oil |
1/8 cup strong black coffee |
3 roasted garlic cloves |
1 shallot, peeled and minced |
1 sprig rosemary |
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme |
1 bay leaf |
1/2 tablespoon salt |
2 beef steaks |
Directions:
1. Put all ingredients, except the steaks, into a zip-lock bag. 2. Mix to combine. 3. Add steaks. Marinate 4 hours or more in the refrigerator. 4. Grill or broil. |
