This recipe goes with Café au Lait Squares Ingredients:
1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened |
2 1/4 cups sifted powdered sugar |
1 1/2 tablespoons kahlúa or other coffee-flavored liqueur |
2 tablespoons finely chopped chocolate coffee beans |
Directions:
1. Beat butter at medium speed of an electric mixer until creamy. Gradually add sugar and Kahlúa, beating until blended. Fold in chopped coffee beans. 2. Note: Chocolate coffee beans are available at specialty food shops or gourmet candy counters. Substitute cold brewed coffee for Kahlúa if desired. |
