It is a very dark and moist cake. This is a family recipe - my most favorite cake recipe ever! Ingredients:
2 c flour |
2 c sugar |
2/3 c cocoa |
2 tsp baking powder |
2 tsp baking soda |
1 c milk |
1 c coffee |
1/2 c oil |
1 tsp vanilla |
2 eggs |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350° 2. In large bowl, sift flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and cocoa. Beat in eggs, milk, oil, vanilla and coffee. Bake for about 30-35 minutes. 3. ***Be sure to watch the cake - if you bake to long the edges will get hard. 4. ***Batter will be very thin. |
