This cake is sweet and delicate to serve for an afternoon tea. Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups flour |
1 tablespoon baking powder |
1/3 cup sugar |
2/3 cup milk |
2 eggs |
1/2 cup butter |
2 tablespoons instant coffee |
1 tablespoon water |
1/3 cup almonds |
1/2 cup flour |
1/3 cup sugar |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 teaspoon allspice |
1 tablespoon water |
Directions:
1. WHisk milk, eggs, butter and coffee into other dry ingredients. 2. Spoon into a 9 inch pan. 3. Combine all topping ingredients and spread over batter. 4. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. 5. Let cool. |
